I ORIGINALLY POSTED:

A monkey turd falls
in the woods and no one hears.
Silence is golden.

REVISION:

But I see Katie beat me to "Silence is golden" by 20 minutes on another thread.

Not being given to plagiarism, or even the possible perception of it, I submit the following revision:

A monkey turd falls
in the woods and no one hears.
Silence of the Chimp

***Honestly, it's because I've been very financially strapped lately. I'm trying so hard to make it work in the motorsports field, but until literally this morning, I was still seven drivers short of just paying the track its fees, let alone making even a small profit. I need 47 drivers to pay the minimum. Today I woke up, clocked in, and we now have 54 drivers -- literally overnight. Phew!

So what that was, folks, was how I deal with stress. Rather than being a jerk, I tend to make funnies. Humor has always been a great friend when times get tough. Not that I'll stop being funny -- it's just now I am a lot more at ease.

Hey, you asked. I had fun watching you guys make up your stories, though. The only withdrawal symptom I've had lately is that I haven't been out much this year to race or even just go to a test day. My poor car sits in her garage, collecting dust. Poor little thing.

Hasta!

***I see GR the same as I see AOL -- he is a virus that only folks with little to no knowledge use.

BTW, that line is BULL**** and totally disrespect teachers. Most teachers do it for the love of teaching. The ones that fall under "can't do, teach" are very small percentage.

Did someone try to say something? No, I didn't think so.

I'm still enjoying Bonni's use of the term "tweeser *****"! See what happens when a seemingly nice, young lady hangs around a Military Base for a week or so??????

Lol, Bob. I don't hang around the base much, but some of the folks I hang out with that are military/civilian service folks aren't always the best influence. I spent most of today at the National Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. WOW. Everything all the way up to the F-18 was on display. Lots of aircraft carrier models, too. It's a really nice place! We went in the (watered-down version) simulator too. It wasn't anything like I wanted, but it was worth the five bucks.

I'm still a nice 'young' lady -- I just don't always say what's on my mind. Frank has a way of doing that to even the nicest of folks. I bet that dweeb could drive the Pope to drinking. :0

Mike . . . the reference to a 'little *****' was because he posted a pic of a kitten looking in the mirror and claimed that there was 'no equal.' So I turned it around on him a bit was all.

Bob -- I don't play golf anymore (and never did with women), and I work out at home so no locker rooms. Maybe it's actually YOU guys that are the bad influence? Hmmm . . .
