Apparently salads are worse than chili dogs, because Jupe just smelled my breath and said, "My Gawd, woman....What was in that salad? Whatever it was, the air just filled with foulness."
Now I'm really going to brush my teeth.

Well, Katie my dear, your breath can't possibly be as bad as GhettoRacer's -- I have heard rumors that he is full of ****.

Yeah, in the great white north which is sounding a bit like the wild, wild west.
Jupe and I looked at each other, and I said, "Oh, it's just fireworks." He said, "yeah, it's fireworks or gunfire, or something..."
Now that I hear it, it's definitely not like fireworks. "Pop....Pop....Pop....Pop....Pop...." Weird.

That's a long drive, too. May I recommend peanut butter m&ms and red bull as a means of staying awake? That's our plan, anyway.
I think I get the first shift, which means that I'll drive from about 4 pm until 10ish. Then Jupe will take a turn while I nap in the back seat. Then he'll ask me to take over around 1 am or so.
This trip sucks. The red bull is a new addition this year, so maybe it will be a little more tolerable.

Actually ours is a several day trip as part of our vacation. A few days in Seattle, kayaking around the San Juan Islands looking for Orcas, stop in Vancouver Wa to see my sister, stop at Crater Lake, & then to San Francisco to sightsee and visit my aunt who is more with it at 90yo than most folks half her age. The woman uses email like a teenager uses IM. She's amazing. Hopefully will be a good trip as long as FA jr and her big sister Globie don't fight the whole time.
Try Hansen's Energy as an alternative to Red Bull. Same affect, but tastes better to my palate.

That is a great rip Mike. I lived in the Seattle area for 15 years and did many variations of that route. One of my favorite trips used to be Seattle to SF, with various routes in between, a few days in SF, then drive up to Lake Tahoe for a few more days, then back to Seattle. Long drives were more common in the West and Northwest. Some friends and I often drove to Tahoe for a weekend trip...I-5 to Mt. shasta, then cut over through Susanville to Reno and up to Tahoe.

Just got another batch of beer going for TRAC.
This time a hoppy American Pale Ale that is a recipe the wife created. We keep changing it every time. Goal is to have the good hop flavor but minimize the overpowering bitter that lots of pale ales have.
Possibly one more to be made between now and then. Any requests?
Also who all is showing up?
I also need a HWFMR decal for the FC. Do these exist, outside of bumper stickers. Something more diecut. Doesn't one of hte 964 guys have a vinyl cutter.
