I'm staying here because the opportunity presented itself out of no where... otherwise I would be back in SoCal already... anyway, I don't think too many rennlist members have information about this series. So I thought I would share as I learn more about it. It does pertain to Porsche because there are 911GT3RS racing in the GT300 class. Here are the results from official testing on 03/03/07.

I'm not sure how much Porsche Motorsports is involved with teams running P cars in Super GT. SGT is the top level pro racing in jp but globally it is not as popular as it should/can be. The technologies used in the GT500 class is pretty advanced... with the cars costing $1 mil or more at times... rivaling DTM cars.

Notice the top 5 GT500 lap times... they are considerably faster than the GT300's.
