***It could very well be that I'm not "cool" enough -- no offense taken. I once wore a bell-bottomed jumpsuit with cowboy boots to school in the third grade. Even my parents thought I was a nerd that day. Fortunately, my dressing style has modestly improved since 1977.

Frank's idea of a retort. What's next? "I'm rubber and you're glue..."

Where is JimBob when Frank needs him?

Nah, Mike, he was just pointing out his assertion that I'm not cool. That's fine. I wasn't attempting to run in a popularity contest. Plus, I think he was just kiddin' around. I can take it -- I've got thick skin. I'll let you all know if I'm offended. I'll start whining and crying like the girl I am. ROFL.

Kinda the same thing, BW, just a different sort of ego trauma for the victim.

To be harsh, even bordering on cruel, people here pull his strings and he dances.

Not the usual M.O. for most of the Rennlist regulars, but Frankly, he incites it.
And not something we are particularly proud of, but there is a certain satisfaction to it.

Of all the trolls that have passed through a rennlist registration in my seven years here, I've never seen one as thoroughly owned as this joker.

And while you have a thick skin, Frank has a very thin skin. That's why it's so easy to get under it, and thereby own him.

(Actually you are quite cool BTW)

Ahhh, thanks Mike. It's always good to be considered "cool". I've seen the HWFMR stickers on some cars out this way, btw. That little slogan always brings a chuckle, especially since it's usually on some of our region's fastest drivers' cars. I'd put one on my car, but it would be too realistic. Lol.

Shhhhhh.... we don't want the rest of the world to figure that out.

(You might do a search on "HWFM application" on the racing or 993 board. It's hours of entertaining reading)

I seem to recall being referred to that website before . . . lots of funny quotes, if I remember right. I'll have to pay another visit. I think my SM pal Kim Ouye has that sticker on his SM. He's not the fastest, but he's no slouch. I have to work to pass that guy! And he weighs almost 100 pounds more than I do!

The only time he is fast is when he is backpedaling.

He has been banned by the best.

He is all mouth, and no spine.

He is a hypocrite.

Talks the talk, Backpedals the walk.

He can't count to seventeen.

He is easily manipulated.

He is utterly lacking in creativity.

He is repetitive to the point of boredom.

He is egotistical without basis.

He is delusional.

He is a racist.

Once again he has proven himself witless..

He is dum.

And with 18 bucks for a Rennlist membership, you too can own him.

Lol. I saw that thread, Mike. I'm staying out of that one. I tease, but I try really hard not to insult. I save those moments for situations like the Pro Race with SCCA I went to and got punted HARD. You guys would not believe the transformation from a lady to a downright foul-mouthed <insert noun here>. By the way . . . I got the guy back, literally at the advice of the car's owner. I could not believe he recommended a pay back. So I carefully punted him back, in the same turn (three at PIR -- the esses/chicane after the festival of turns and the main straight). I wound up dropping from 3rd to 4th, he wound up 6th. It just doesn't pay to mess with nice people. Lol.

Yes, Kim was one of our earliest teammates.
We have a number of teammates who regularly appear on podiums (podia for those educated by Jesuits), but they do it in a self-deprecating manner with humor and wit intact.

PS -- the car was already screwed when he punted me, which is likely why the owner recommended the payback. It's not like I did further damage to the car. If you know how to punt properly (which I do NOT recommend), you can do so without noteable damage. The car was repaired, but it wasn't the same. He sold it, though, for $10k if memory serves. Yikes!
