Default On GCC, Time Attack, and back pedaling...

Once again a post of Bull's is dead on the money and thought provoking:

While you are at it AGAIN tell GhettoRumper that his stupid "Time Attacks" are not racing. they are a form of competition, but have nothing to do with racing. When he actually show up and competes in a real live race....not "was going to", "had plans to", "will do in 2009", etc.........he can then start learning what the word means!
There are some terrific drivers who only do DE's.

There are some terrific driver's who only do autocross.

I respect them, and their talent, immensely.

While autocross and the Time Attack version of DEs are competitive, there is no way they are comparable to racing. Despite Frank's claims to the contrary.

The fact is, he has two races to his credit, both abject failures.

What the the Lance Armstrong of Backpedaling has in the non-existent GCC is a loophole through which he can ride a bicycle backwards, any time someone calls him on his specious claims, or inquires why he isn't already racing, given his career goals.

Until Glen makes the GCC a reality (we know Ghetto never will), the asian cultural specialist and racist will rely on the the make-believe GCC as a means to "save face", at least in his mind.

I know Glen. I will ask him if this is a real deal the next time I see/speak with him.

Excellent point Mike.

I have never intended to indicate that many drovers in DEs, autoX, etc. aren't good drovers, and amny are working hard to become excellent. All I do these days are DEs, and about 35-35 days of them each season....and I serve as living proof that not all DE drovers are excellent either!

Anyone can start out doing DEs and progress to racing (that is w2w stuff Dung). I started out racing and moved to DEs...part of a long list of brilliant career moves!

We all know that the best drivers are in karts anyways.

This whole w2w vs. DE vs. auto-x is really sortof a moot point if you consider that.

I know you have the utmost respect for them as well.

Because we are racers, I didn't want anyone to misconstrue our view of other track pursuits.

I just wanted to shrink the cage down a bit more. when there is no room in the cage for a bicycle, it's hard to back pedal.

Is it me, or does Francis look like the queerest spongehead this side of the Castro District?

He lists San Fran on his profile. $20 says he lives in the Castro with the rest of the Village People.

Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that...

This reminds me of a "Where's Waldo" book or a game of "One of these things is not like the other..."

Castro is more than just a queer town. It has many history and wonderful ppl that live there. I would love to live there but it is too bling bling for me, my poor *** can't afford it there. I thought you it would be mecca for you guys since you always seem to suck on each others' dongs and congratulates each other on being the masters of rennlist (or so you think)...
