Ask John about the new gator fences that he could install. It really is the way to go for safety.

He has a fence, but the gate won't close still after Ivan as he never fixed it. So, being as Ivan was what . . . two years ago . . . and he still hasn't fixed the fence, I'd say there is little chance he'll put up a gator fence. Lol.

If you move there, you may want one as a pet. Many people have found them quite trainable if you use the new techniques. Did you see any people walking them on leashes like you see in South Florida?

Nah, I never saw anyone walking a gator, not in the panhandle nor in south Florida. I think that's a Miami thing.

I don't think that has reached the Riviera yet.

It is a good idea to carry a Jaws of Life with you if you are out walking in unknown territory.

I imagine that having a pet gator while walking late at night would be better than carrying a gun. Lol. I don't think my cat would like it if I kept a gator.

But the gator would, but then it'd probably want you to get another.

Yeah, well, I kinda like my cat. He's pretty cool. But he's kinda stupid in a way. I found him up a tree after doing battle with a German Shepard (he had 14 broken bones in his leg area!). Knowing this cat, I'm positive he teased the dog to get the unwanted reaction. I wouldn't be surprised if this doofus cat tried the patience of a gator, too. That's what happens when you have a brain the size of a pea.
