transponder

Hey all. Need to get a transponder. Deciding between a used MYLAPS/AMB TranX 260 and a MYLAPS X2 Car/Bike for a league in which those are the only two approved transponders. The used but tested TranX 260 will come to a total of CAD$750, but I can buy a new X2 with a year's subscription from ebay for CAD$190. The difference comes in the price of the subscription, and I don't know what it will be. The team needs this to last for a while, and I'm trying to figure out which would be more cost-effective. MYLAPS doesn't seem to publish the price of subscriptions. I'm wondering if anyone here has pricing figures for 1/2/5 year X2 subscriptions. If region makes a difference, I'm in Canada. Thanks!

Pegasus Racing sells Mylaps gift cards. I would think the pricing is similar to the direct pricing.
