$5k. Yikes. I guess an exclusive part can dictate its price. Call me crazy, but I wonder if the roll hoop's attachment to the bulkhead as done by BBi and Cantrell is actually a safer, better design than this OEM Euro part that attaches to the floor structure.

Wow--nearly six grand delivered. It's about 2X most other bars.

Harness is attached to the firewall wiry cutouts from factory
i would argue without actual data that mounting to the floor is far superior than doing so to other areas that aftermarket bars go into. The factory bar is attached to a reinforced block rather than merely thin sheet metal

Brackets need to be fabricated in order to attach this.
I doubt they are available separate from the BIW from Porsche.
Looks like they fit into a cutout and are welded from underneath.

^ Tracks exactly with what I've been told, d00d.
Same source suggested the welding required for those mounts is either difficult or essentially impossible due to use of differing metals at those locations as well as things nearby you don't want to get hot. Will be interesting to see if all of that is accurate—I mean, there is someone converting a 991.1 GT3 RS from PDK to manual right now...

Then one could obtain the CS package roll bar from a wreck, or in this case possibly a theft, as how do you total a car without scratching the wheels?
Maybe someone could also duplicate the roll bar, and sell it along with the bolt in brackets.
Another benefit, in addition to having the best structure, would be that the factory CS package plastic trim pieces could be used instead of the less than perfect cutting that's required.

Yeah, if someone could just come up with a bolt in bracket, then we'd have something.
