Good thread. Thanks for posting. Between this issue and the spiegler lines issue, I am now totally paranoid about wheels clearing all lines and wires! Will now take yet another look behind my wheels to make sure this is not happening.

Could this be the culprit of the parking brake issues some have been having?

I just checked my car. 19" 10.5 forgelines with -2.4 R camber no evidence of rubbing. I wonder if Joe's faster driving speed is compressing the rear suspension / wheel travel into that loom area more?

2 things I think are more likely:

1). -2.7 camber in rear
2). 11 inch rear wheel width and oem offset

My PDI alignment. I don't remember the exact specs since this was about a year ago, but i t was when I was getting my track alignment to move to 19s we noticed this wear. I don't know if this really matters, but my car came with the dunlops and we noticed this after about 5 track days and 3000 miles.

It only took a very minute amount of bending the mounting bracket to get a more clearance, so there may be some variability in the brackets that cause the rubbing? Based on your case, perhaps everyone should double check. Do you recall if it was the passenger or driver side?

Thanks Joe for this , just installed Forgeline 19's and bent the bracket back a bit on both sides.
I only have -2deg front and -1.7deg rear.

Ok, here's an odd data point. I run the 19" OZ wheels, -2.4 in rear, and I got the parking brake fault message you mentioned. Pulled the wheels and checked and see no rubbing of the wire. I did see the error shortly after putting in the brake caliper and line studs so that may be related. Have only intermittantly gotten that message and haven't taken it to the dealer yet. Anyone else see this?

That is weird. Does the parking brake work when the light is on?
