I'll try that. My GT4 arrives in a month. I'll try Fremont, Stevens Creek, Carlsen, Burlingame.

For anyone in the Hartford, CT area, Hoffman Porsche can activate it for you. Great dealership.

As suggested here, PIWIS programming to enable Sport Chrono and voila. Dealer must not have checked MFD after.

Who was your service guy? Did they charge you for the service?

They did not charge me probably because they thought they were unsuccessful. I had offered to pay coding labor to do it. Worst case, I expected an hour of shop labor.

Russell Fong is my guy.

I'll call my dealer Rusnak and see if it's something they can do for me.

I'll keep you posted. Have you contacted your Dealer?

Have used it a bit on track. Nice but kinda gimmicky to have. Comes on around 5K. I use sound for shifting like the old Mezger engine in my former 997.1 GT3. Would be more useful in a heads up display like the corvette.

Can someone share a photo of the g-force meter and gearshift assist while also showing that the chrono package is not available.

I would like to show it my service guy that it's doable.
