So I have had my GT4 for 6 months now and have taken it on track 6 times. The last event was called Trackfight and was held at the Bahrain International Circuit on the Inner Configuration. This is a 1.6 mile layout that is technical and rewards cars that handle well as opposed to the GP configuration which has many long straights and rewards horsepower. In this event we had 2 GT3RS 991's (see timesheet attached) and although it was the first outing for both of them the gap to the GT4 is about 2-3 seconds. Of note is that back in November another GT3RS 991 was driven on this configuration by a Porsche Cup Middle East driver and he managed 1:10's. My brother drives the GT3RS and achieved 1:12's on his first outing and he says the car has more in it. I managed high 1:14's and I have had more track time with my car. We are both on par in terms of pace (we race road race Honda's and our pace is similar there so its a good compare). Having said all that I would guess that on the Bahrain Inner track the difference between the GT4 and the GT3RS 991 would be 3-4 seconds. Its worth mentioning that the 997 GT3RS managed 1:15's in its day (yes the GT4 is quicker around this configuration). I attach the timing screen from the Trackfight event and also a photo of my GT4, my brothers GT3RS and BHGT2's yellow GT4. Also a link to my onboard lap.
