I had my car washed for the first time since hill climbing. It was filthy. I love my 981 GT4 and no matter how much better them new one will be I am sticking with this one !
Was wondering when I inspected the wing the other day how adjusting it is done... can you provide some more insight?
There are four bolts that attach the wing to the uprights. Two per side.
You loosen the two in the front and fully remove the two in the rear. Then you will notice the rear hole is actually two positions. So lift the rear of the wing and reinstall in your hardware. This will position the wing "up" and generate more downforce. Don't forget to tighten the front bolts back as well.
It's a very small adjustment. It's also quite simple to do once you see it. You should also remove the two aero bits on the front of the car as well to rebalance the car.
I spent a couple of hours washing, paint sealing (Sonax), and polishing my car before it heads into the dealer tomorrow.
Getting the transmission replaced under the technical service bulletin.
Should have it back sometime Tuesday.
