Maybe with 100 or 200 cell hi-flow cats? I don't remember exactly but I think on the stock header the cats are fully covered by the heat shield.

I saw pics of CS headers with melted cats, apparently it's not just the aftermarket headers losing cats.

^ if u track, the cat will die.
you need to have catless exhaust
if your cat overheats. lots of wire can be damage and then fry your ecu...

i wonder how i know ;-)

Wow, I guess I will stick with my Cargraphics catless race headers. I was thinking of trying some sport headers with cats but since I track so much, that sounds like a problem waiting to happen.

Cleaned up and ready for the first DE of the season (iphone pic not the greatest) - heading down to NCM tomorrow, heard good things about the layout and facility look forward to checking it out. changed a few things over the winter - Salter uprights, Dundon headers, mirrors and wing end plates in satin black

Looks like fun man, wish I could have joined y'all. I had a great time on those roads on my bike. Didn't watch all the video out of jealousy ...But, can you stay on your side of the yellows next time? Scared me out of my damn pants when I came around a curve to a car on my side of the road (and I was riding slooow as hell being a relatively inexperienced rider).

Trackday today, here a vid:

Not my quickest round, that was 2.01, but never a clean round without traffic. Still a lot of fun, afterwork, put about 80 miles on.

I dropped it an inch and put some Vossen wheels on it... Super happy how it turned out.

Looks like you made a detour and stopped at Alice's for an omelette.

Next time your in Pescadero try Duarte's for the artichoke soup.

I used to live on Skyline not far from Alice's but had to relocate back east for work. I miss those roads so badly.

Wow, small world - I also used to live up there! Whereabouts were you?

Will check out Duarte's.

I used to live near the top of Tunitas Creek Rd. I left their in 2004 and still miss it, a really decent place to live especially when you drive a Porsche.

Some other cool places to visit there are the Mountain House Restaurant on Skyline Blvd - very rustic cool laid back place with a killer double cut veal chop. Right down the road from the Mountain House is the Bella Vista - fine French dining with a view of the bay through the redwoods - awesome soufflé S for dessert.

Where / when did you live up there.
