GT4 clutch.

GT4 clutch.
I hate to keep rehashing this subject but I'm a little confused.
From what I've read most of the reviews say that the GT4 clutch is just slightly heavier than the stock Cayman S, GTS.
From watching the MT video the gent complains about the clutch saying "the clutch on this thing is way too heavy."
I've driven both the Cayman S, GTS, 991 Carrera S and 997GT3, and the only clutch I found heavy was on the 997GT3.
Can those who have received their GT4 comment on how the clutch compares to say the Cayman S, 991 Carrera S and 997GT3?
Just wondering if I should start working out my lower body more.

^^^^^ The clutch is light and IMO helps to make perfect shifts every time. The guy in the review who said that lost all credibility with me ( not like he cares ) to review a car.
As a matter of fact I am going to call him a review TROLL

It's not heavy at all. It has a nice firm feel, but nothing that has even caused me to notice it.

I agree 100%. He should drive the dump truck I drove in college for my summer job. Now that was one heavy clutch!

Some clutches get heavier as they wear, and we know this test car has been used and possibly abused. I suspect this particular car's clutch was abnormally heavy.
The GT4 clutch is not GT3 heavy at all IMHO.

Pure bullsh-t the clutch is no big deal. I had 2 981Cs's MT's the the GT4's clutch is a little heaver but-not much. Does anybody know the diameter of the 981 CS clutch? The GT4's is 240mm. Hope is bigger than the 3.4s. carl

The GT4 clutch is bit heavier than a 991S but way lighter than a 997 GT3. My Lotus Elise with stock clutch is ever so slightly heavier than the 991S.
Best I can describe the GT4 clutch is that it feels firm but I never consciously think it's heavy. 997 GT3 I definitely noticed the heft.
Those that think GT4 clutch is too heavy have never driven a race clutch before. It's a matter of perspective. I find the weight is appropriate in light of The other controls.

Whoever thinks the clutch is heavy shouldn't be skipping leg day in favor of doing countless biceps curls at the gym

Geeze man - its NOT a Honda Civic. Have you tried it? It's lighter than the GT3's I have driven, and much lighter than the Motorsport Pressure Plate/GT3 disk/non-assisted clutch slave I have in my 993TT.
Perfectly driveable, and in fact, nicer if it has some weight since often that helps with the feel.
