I would like to know the throttle position after 6500. My conspiracy theory guess is the car will not hold WOT…

IMO you are going to need larger intake ducts as well. Right now the GT4 is breathing through a pretty small straw.

Will these also fit the 981 Boxster Spyder?

366whp is a long way from 400 whp. . Especially in the NA world. . Although I would also love to see it , 😆

Our facility is climate controlled with a target temp of 81 degrees F. On the Race Header dyno chart, the stock runs were averaged at 81.53 degrees and with the long tubes run temps were averaged at 80.48 degrees. We run SAE correction which takes any differences into consideration. We've been asked this enough to where we are going to do our best to implement temperatures into our dyno charts from now on.

We did rev the car out higher but as seen the gains start to taper down. The GT4 was delivered directly to us, fresh with plastics. Until we had put more miles on the car we did not want to abuse it out of respect to the owner.

If there are any parameters anyone wishes to see, let us know. We're already planning to monitor throttle position on future dyno pulls. If anyone wishes to make it out to listen to her roar, let us know.

Development is not yet done and we are still working on crafting the best possible rear exhaust system, among other products. There is definitely more power to extract, and we're hot on the trail!

Our long tube Race Headers were developed specifically for the 3.8L. We also believe they will be fully compatible with the 981 Boxster Spyder (using the same 3.8L powerplant), but we will confirm as soon as we get our hands on one.

See above. We'll be gathering that data on the next round of dyno testing and will share it with you guys!

We're closing in on it! We've hit 374 at the wheels with the Race Headers and one of our prototype rear exhaust systems and we have yet to tinker with any intake modifications... Stay "tuned"!

Hi John, i have the 981 sport headers that I took off my boxster and "was" planning on putting the on the gt4 when it came in. Based on several threads on this forum I assumed this would possible.

Can you please comment if this is possible or how these are different from the gt4 headers?

thanks!

I'm very excited about these new developments! Unanimously the two foibles of this otherwise stellar car are the long second gear and the asphyxiatingly small intake tract. You guys will definitely get my business when the products are released to address these two issues, which I decidedly know will happen

We tested our existing 981 Sport Headers on the GT4 and they performed quite well. We explored a few other configurations but our tried and true 981 design was the strongest performer. The Race Headers were developed to take advantage of the high flowing 3.8L engine and elimination of cats, this afforded us the ability to craft a long tube header design to extract the extra gains.

Glad to hear it! Our engineers are toiling away on your behalf.

will be interesting to see what you come up with on the intake side as well... might add to the sound as well as add a few tq's & hp's. subscribed to this thread.

Stay tuned.

We averaged several runs on our dyno to get those numbers, yes. Very healthy from the factory but you can definitely feel the increased sharpness with modifications. We've been working on tuning our prototype exhausts, pushing the power as far as we can while smoothing out the midrange torque dip.

I for one would like to see that top part of the rev range as well. It's critical for area under the hp curve and real world acceleration- you'll be in that rev range all the time.

Definitely noted, we will run the car all the way out for our next dyno runs now that the car is broken in.
