Essex/AP Racing J Hook Discs, Ferodo Pads, Spiegler SS Brake Lines-available now GT4
Hi Gents,
I know a lot of you have recently been taking delivery of your beautiful new GT4's and planning to get them out to the racetrack. Over the past few weeks we've been test fitting a host of new brake components that will improve your car's performance. Below is what we now have to offer:
Essex Designed AP Racing 2-piece Competition J Hook Discs and Ferodo Racing Brake Pads-
Many of you have likely seen my post in the 991 GT3 forum. Please see the basic product details in that thread. Please note however, that our AP Racing discs for the GT4 are not the same as the 991 GT3 version. We do have the correct fitment for the GT4 however.
We installed the discs on a customer car earlier today. I'd like to give a huge thanks to CarAholic for letting us borrow his gorgeous GT4. He took me out for a spin...what a frickin' phenomenal car!
Here is our front AP Racing J Hook installed:
Ferodo Racing Pads
As described in the link above, we have both street and track pads for the GT4. The pads are the same as the 991 GT3. The DS2500 is a killer sport pad for street/autoX duty. The DS1.11 is a fantastic endurance racing compound that many of the 991 GT3 folks have been adopting and loving.
Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines Spiegler brake lines are the highest quality brake line on the market. Believe it or not, the owner of Spiegler is actually a German engineer who drives a 911! The fittings are sourced from Switzerland, and the hoses are assembled and tested in Ohio. They have some unique features that aren't available elsewhere. The fittings were explicitly developed for Porsche applications at a considerable expense. They really are the Swiss Watch of brake lines. Our GT4 line kit includes the lines for all four corners of the car.

While SS lines might be a good suggestion, a better suggestion would be to come up with SS lines that will facilitate caliper removal for pad changes by way of getting rid of the hard lines.
The rear discs have arrived!We are now shipping front and rear AP Racing J Hook discs for the GT4!

Would there be other options for pads to use other than the Ferodo? I have used your kits before on other cars and had the S100 AP pads which were great.

Talk to Clark-ApexPerformance. You have several pad options that he can advise you on. This thread is mainly about slotted rotors that work with your OEM calipers.
