Well, here are some final pics of my beautiful Racing Yellow GT4. I ordered this absolute beauty of a car in 2015 and had delivery in August 2016. She was my first Porsche, after a false start in 2007 when I tried to talk to a dealer about ordering a GT3 and was basically treated as a tyre kicker (I ended up getting a Nissan GT-R about 12 to 18 months later). My GT4 was my first Porsche and a special one, you always remember your first and I will never forget her.

I have traded her on a 991.2 911 GT3 RS, which I am told by my dealer here in Australia was ordered by a customer who didn't end up going through with the deal.

I got an awesome deal on the GT3RS, a deal that I couldn't walk away from! And given the 718 GT4 wasn't the upgrade over my 981 GT4 I hoped for, I think this 991.2 911 GT3 RS is the right choice

Congratulations on the new car. Which Porsche dealership is this? It doesn't look like any one of the three Melbourne ones.

I didn't recognize it, looks like they're doing major renovations.

Yeah, they're doing some pretty major renovations on the dealership with an expansion to increase the number of workshops from one to three, and more showroom floor space. Apparently it's meant to be ready in October. Looks pretty awesome, and is a fitting expansion for a great dealership. Hopefully the outrageous increase to stamp duty on luxury cars introduced by the Victorian State Government at last election doesn't hurt their sales too much.

Good to see they're moving ahead and hopefully their servicing has improved. There's been quite a few issues in the past with others including my 911 turbo a few years ago, was in for engine rebuild under warranty for oil leaks and long story short they got the ignition timing wrong and wrecked my engine. Ended up taking elsewhere for fixing on their coin.

Oh, that’s a worry! No big issues for me apart from them accidentally dislodging a vacuum hose when doing a transmission replacement for my GT4 (as part of the Porsche initiated recall), easy fix. Otherwise servicing has been great. The only other car dealership I’ve ever been happy with is Mornington Mercedes, those guys are awesome.

Vacuum hose issue seems to be common problem during transmission replacement. I had exact same experience, however different dealer.

From a few weeks ago . The first one was on my way to LRP during the IMSA Northeast GP.
All I need now is a matching Trailex w/ black wheels ; )

Finally have some semi decent pictures...
Carmine Red, LWBS, many options including leather steering wheel with red stitching, no CCB. Driving it so it just turned over 10K miles...
