Default Interior Choice

I have been searching and need some help.
I need to make my discussion on the interior this week and thought that I wanted the Anodized Black Brushed Aluminum Interior Package, but I have only seen a couple photos and can't find them on the net right now. Can some one please lend me a hand and show me the way to some interior shots of Brushed Black.

Thank you very much,

The anodized black trim comes standard on the 991 GTS. If you go to the Porscheusa.com inventory finder or pre-owned car finder and search for a 911 GTS, you can find many pictures of cars with this trim.

Hope that helps Simon.

Thanks, it does help, but I would love an image that has an Alcantara glovebox so I can get better representation.
Obviously I have seen the image on the configurator, but was hoping that there were some real world photos out there.

You need to get on a PC and download the '3D' configurator. It's not as awesome as the one at the dealership but it blows away anything that I can do on my iPad. Make sure it's the 3D one and I vaguely recall playing with the annodized black treatments.

FWIW I think they are really unique but too stark in contrast with the air vents surrounds that you have zero choices of changing. Seems to me that these would be glaring. The bar in back of the seats is another peice you can't change so I actually went with silver stitching to go with the already special brushed aluminum and I think having only black door, dash, and console treatments would stick out. In THIS car! I've seen it done well otherwise. Just my $0.02

This. The other downside to the anodized trim is that when it gets scratched, it's going to look terrible.

Sorry if I was not clear. The inventory or pre-owned Finder will show you actual photos of cars in dealer lots. REAL LIFE photos. These are cars for sale, not a configurator. And since the GTS comes with alcantara is standard there is a decent chance you will see a picture of that combo on one of the cars.

Should only take five minutes. Scroll to the bottom left of porscheusa.com and you'll see links for the inventory search and pre-owned locator tools. I know for a fact there are several GTS models for sale there.

Also the below pics may help, but will have to use imagination a bit if alcantara were right next to the trim.

Here's the photo you want; can't link directly, but this link goes to the page and brings up the right photo, and there are high-res options available: http://www.autoblog.com/2014/12/01/2...#slide-3112267

I ruled out black aluminum because it's REALLY black, darker than either the Alcantara below or the dash leather above, plus any scratches would show very prominently.

Was surprised by how dark it is as well. To the point that if I was ordering a GTS, I would switch to the no cost regular aluminum trim.

Certainly another personal preference. I specifically wanted as little bright metal as possible in the interior. I was able to test drive a CGTS with the black anodized interior but with 18 seats (like the GT4 I ordered). This car also an Alcantera interior.

I really liked the look of that black trim accent. Yes it is darker, but the textured metal surface gives it a different look that I like. If I could have ordered LWB with my allocation I would have chosen the 'carbon' interior, but that didn't appeal to me with the 18 way seats.

I was concerned about the durability of the black anodized surface, but what I have read from others is that there is no problem with this. We shall see next month.

I was agonising quite a bit over the interior choices, but in the end decided to stick with the standard aluminium trim, simply because it was the best fit among the other shiny bits in the cabin and the carbon fibre not really matching the LWB seats. Not ideal but probably the best.

I haven't seen the black brushed aluminum but I almost ordered it as I do not like the silver trim that comes standard. I considered the black brushed aluminum but went with the color match to exterior.

Can you clarify that? Do you mean the CF pattern is different sizes between the seats and trim?

I thought CF trim would go great with CF on LWB.

I see it differently than most above...looked at the Fashion Grey GT3 at Rusnak, and was surprised at how light it appeared. To me, it had somewhat of a bronze tint.

I've seen the CF trim on the LWB seats at the NYC auto show in person and have seen the CF trim on the GTS models. The weave pattern of the CF on the seats is different.

Different enough to be noticeable? Only you can answer that.

I stayed with the standard silver trim. The interior is dark enough as is and having the black anodized made it too dark for me with no contrast.
