Had the GTS lights on my black base 981 and loved them. I left them on it last year when I traded for my GT4 thinking stock looked good. It is Sapphire Blue. I was wrong. Your image will cost me.

Old thread I know but this would probably require you to buy European tail lamps, right? Anyone done that when making the swap?

My tint guy just installed a full matte satin wrap over all paint - and he went a little crazy on the tail lights too. I had to peel this stuff off as it's not my style - but some may like the look.

Since this thread got bumped and this was never answered: yes you have to buy Euro lights, and yes it's possible you just have to swap over the existing North American wiring harness to the new Euro lights:

Alternatively, if you really want a challenge, you can also swap out the brown Euro connector with the grey North American one by ordering x2 of part number 1K0-973-804-G and breaking out the terminal keys. I did this for just fun, and I ended up having to cut up and completely destroy the Euro connectors in order to extract the terminals; I don't think these are really meant to be reusable housings.
