Sounds like fun OP! I'm sure you'll have a blast and learn a ton. Looks like you got mostly good weather too, which is always a variable.
Coincidentally, I just made this thread. Can you please ask them: "What happens to all the Porsche's at Barber?"
Here are my fastest laps there so far. I'm just a normal guy, no racing experience, who likes to drive fast...and somehow this lap is holding on to the top spot on the Best Track Times in a GT4 thread.
Turn it up and enjoy!

Just got back from the 2-Day Performance Course. It was awesome. So well run and organized. No minute was wasted and there is plenty of track time. I am already planning on signing up for the Masters course.

You can also tell them that you only want to drive PDK (don't drive a stick or just plain preference) and they will accommodate that. The PDK cars are definitely quicker unless you aren't pushing very hard. On the other hand the manuals are fun and you can "cheat" and use the SPORT mode with the auto-blipper if your heel-and-toe skills need a little extra help. It's practically impossible not to have fun at any PSDS event

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm sure they get people who have never been to a track, as well as those who have done a few track days....did they tailor the event to each individual's experience to some degree? Or did you feel like it was geared towards first-timers?

I'd say half of the group had no experience, one-third had a handful of track days under their belt, and the rest had substantial track experience. But they were good about grouping you based on your experience level (and with whoever you can with). So, while it was geared more towards the novice level, it still was quite challenging and fun for us who had some track experience.
