Why hasn't my GT4 sold?
My pristine Rhodium silver GT4 hasn't even been test driven since I dropped it off at Autobahn in Fort Worth on 10/28/17.

What gives?
The car has been significantly marked down from the original listing price. In fact, it may be the least expensive CPO GT4 around with LWB.
I am really tempted to just go buy it back!!

I'm surprised too but if I had to guess, it's a combination of a not as desirable color, the initial GT4 enthusiasm has died down, the GT3 is a better known car and the GT4 prices fall within the 997 GT3 range, and used 991 GT3 prices have come way down.

Drew_K, all true. I was under the impression that a LWB GT4, regardless of color, with low miles, full front end wrap for less than a 100K would sell very quickly.
It is still hard to find an equivalent condition or milage 997 GT3 for less money and the GT4has CPO coverage.
I suppose I am biased as the prior owner. There really aren't any other CPO GT-car options for less than 100k.
Having said that, I did trade the car in anticipation of a GTS and am hopeful for a GT3 allocation.
We have also seen glimpses of the current GT4's replacement...

Sold my GT4 via bringatrailer.com in December 2017, after seeing them do well there. With 14,700 miles and no LWB, I was curious to see how it would do—and the bidding met my reserve in the first two days. The discussion carried on, and there was a lot of enthusiasm, so I figured we'd see the usual BaT frenzy in the last hours or minutes of the auction.
Nope. The final minutes were pure anti-climax, without a single additional bid. The car sold for the $84,000 bid made several days earlier (which means the buyer paid $89k~).
I wish I hadn't had to pickle the car for a month before selling it (my startup demanded my full attention), but I can't say I'm disappointed in the sale price—as I drove it for nearly two years and 15,000 miles and it kept most or all of its MSRP of $87k. I ordered Guards Red and 4-way Sport Seats because that's what I wanted, even though I knew white or some other color and LWBs would be better for resale. In your case, I think some of the factors noted above—growing awareness of 997.1 GT3 vs GT4 prices, penetration of 991.2 GT3 MT, used 991.1 GT3 prices—may be at play. I also suspect that Rhodium Silver's lack of popularity when the GT4 was new may carry into the used car market.
My advice, if you are even thinking about buying it back? Do so only if you'll put a lot of miles on it.

Agreed on above -- color is less sought-after (though quite nice, IMO), eve of new GT4, 991.2 GT3 coming online, 991.1 GT3's getting cheaper -- but also worth noting it is the heart of winter. Frankly, seems like a great car for the $$.

Time of year is also a great point. My car sold to a buyer in the south, who can drive on track all year....
I suspect the next possibility for a GT4 price increase will be the beginning of the track season and/or the announcement of the 718 GT4. The latter could cut either way depending on its engine (if it's notably better than the 981 GT4 3.8) and on its price point (if it's significantly higher, that could bolster 981 GT4 prices).
This might be the worst moment to sell a 981 GT4, or the best time to get out for a while. It's hard to know. The best idea is to drive drive drive...

Looks like they are pricing it now at MSRP + CPO. Depending on what they gave for it there may be enough margin.

Tough market right now. Recently sold my Sapphire blue with 4 ways and 4100 mies for 88k . MSRP of 92k.
Low spec build with a popular color and was getting offers mostly in 85-87k range, which surprised me.

GT4s are selling pretty quickly from what I witnessed with a few key caveats. I started my search six months ago and bought mine last month. From my experience, any car that was CPO, were popular colors (SBM, CR, White) and outfitted with these options: LWBs, Chrono, full leather, and PCCBs, sold fast if priced at, near or slightly under MSRP. No car with those specs stayed on the market for more then a month during my search. I was checking cars.com, autotrader and the Porsche car locator daily. A lot of higher optioned cars went over MSRP often. I know everyone says don’t buy for the next owner, but the right specs definitely moves faster.
anything outside of those specs has been on the market for months. Including OP’S car
