Any IPD plenum DIY experiences?
Couple of key points just to make sure your install goes well:
1. Make sure to install the A/C bracket bolt. The head is a bit shorter than the stock bolt allowing the plenum to sit down as far as it needs to.
2. I slid the top of the vacuum seals towards the outside of the car so I could lift off the original plenum.
3. Move the TB flapper around a couple of times to make sure it opens/closes smoothly.
4. Make sure when you install the new plenum to rotate the seals around a couple of turns to make sure it's fully seated all around. If you can't squeeze the clamps together to put the screws in, something, probably the seal, is not seated properly.
5. When you think you're done with the install, start the car without reinstalling the hatch. Even without updating your tune, the idle and some revving should be smooth and glitch-free. If there is a rough idle, surging or the like (as I experienced), something is not sealed properly.
6. If everything seems ok at this point, put the cover on with some of the screws and go drive around for a bit. CEL might come on (mine did) but it should run normally/smoothly.
Good luck. It is well worth the install and retune. There is absolutely no dip at all during the climb from 2k - redline, although I also have race headers and the total combo is probably better than just the plenum.

Oh, also see how much oil is sitting in the valleys of the OEM plenum. I'm curious. Mine definitely had some -- maybe a 1/4 tsp -- not that much but enough to convince me I need to install a catch can or vent to air setup sometime.
Thanks for the tips on the install......I have Sport headers and exhaust with a COBB ProTune so hoping this mod will help a bit on the top end as I'm very happy so far with all the mods....just need a bit more on the top end.
I'd be surprised if you're not thrilled! I wish I did it sooner.
It'll also be interesting to see if COBB handles the CEL without a retune. My FVD software needed to be updated to remove the resulting CEL.

I hold on this mods waiting on the GT3 intake from TPC but a local GT4 owner had it and sold the car....made me a really good offer and I couldn't say no. If the GT3 intake delivers a tangible benefit over the IPD/TB combo I may do it anyway.
The COBB ProTune I have probably will be able to take care of the CELs....the retune will be to update the map so it takes advantage of the extra airflow.

Got the IPD + TB on the car over the weekend. Took me probably 4-5 hours to do the whole thing but I took my time with some breaks, specially dealing with those PITA clamps that hold the IPD and runners together. Also, took out my BMC filters and clean/re-oil them, looks of debris and leaves. I would recommend changing the filters (either OEM or Aftermarket) often on this car.
My original COBB ProTune or BGB's COBB base tune that John sent me got the car running without any CEL's....now comes the fine tuning and will try to schedule some dyno if possible.

It's crazy how much oil we find in these intake center sections on cars that have less than 1000 miles. Pretty par for the course though.

You need a catch can solution, that's best.
