The GT4 shifter is not threaded. It is a press fit, with a plastic locking ring. In order to install an aftermarket shift ****, you need to install an adapter that attaches to the shift lever via grub screws. The **** will then screw on to the adapter.

I see some on amazon, but none of them list Porsche for compatibility. I have been searching everywhere.
