I'm hoping to get one. if I find myself in the privileged position of being able to comfortably afford and justify both, that's a best case scenario. if not, I will most likely go for the GT3, simply for the engine

I will be getting one. NA, 500 HP, MANUAL - can not be denied. Love my GT4 though.

As long as it does not have center lock wheels.

Yeah, those CL's are a PIA. My understanding is that the GT4 hubs can be retrofitted (but then you also need to buy new wheels). I hope Porsche makes CL's optional too!

Unfortunately it will be too pricey for me. The GT4 will have to be the next best thing for now.

That being said, I've been enjoying my featherweight Fiesta so much that I think the lighter GT4 is more to my driving taste anyways. Just wish it didn't run out of steam in high RPMs.

Jimmy,

Would you still pick gt3 over gt4 if they came with same engine and MT?
Mid engine vs rear engine?

Just put a deposit on one!! Manual FTW!

I'm getting the impression that GT4s and 991.1 GT3 prices are going to get HOSED when the 991.2 GT3 comes out with the manual. I have to assume many GT4 buyers wanted the manual and didn't take or sold the GT3. Then many GT3 owners held their noses while buying it with the PDK. Hope I'm wrong but I doubt it...

I'm on a list. I'm going 2 "P" options: PTS (if possible) and PDK.

With its release i am hoping the 991.1 GT3 will take a dip in the pricing.

New 991.2 GT3 will be way more than im willing to spend.

Unless GT3 motors don't stop blowing up I'm passing on it. GT4 at this point is more reliable.
