My lap times agree that after about 10HC's the R7's drop off start making them no faster than the RE71's. But those first few sessions are heaven...like viagra heaven...although I honestly have to say that I have never taken 10 at the same time :-O

^Sounds about right for "normal" track surfaces. Per the poster asking about TWS, it is like a cheese grater on tires. I would plan for around 2 weekends at the most. I have about the same camber and have never been able to get four full days out of the Cup 2's there, but think the RE71R's might do it due to their outer edges holding up better.

I rode with a student at Mid-Ohio over the weekend running a 265/295 19 Hoosier combo on Forgeline GA1R 9x19 and 10.5 19. From the passenger seat the grip was amazing.

Awesome data for Watkins Glen. 2:13 is pretty damn good. When I read your data I see that you're over slowing with the RE71s compared to the Hoosiers. I also noticed when running the RE71 you lifted as you went through 2-3 and again leading up to 4 (using your loaded turn numbers). Turn 1 and 7 are the only corners you were able to get on the throttle faster than the Hoosiers. I'm curious if you're not feeling the grip as quickly, or are you not as confident in the tires as they exit a corner. I bet if you can stay in the throttle through the Esses you can easily hit 2:12s. Great stuff!
