Id say the next GT4 will be N/A with PDK. (It will most likey be the last N/A Cayman that Porsche builds.)
Count on the old GTS motor powering the car.
Hopefully they build another run of GT4 Clubsports with this package.
The 3.8L DFI has been available since 2009 and going strong.
I am not sure how long they can continue building these engines for the sake of a small 718 GT4 run, but it will be nice.

The next gt4 regardless of engine will sticker 10k more with transaction prices 10-15k more easily.
This assures 981.1 GT4 will be close to msrp for a long time.
There were over 5000 981.1 gt4 built. That is a lot of caymans. Probably more than GTS. This is a real potential money maker brand now.

Historically SUVs/X-overs have accounted for highest profit margins across manufacturers. I reckon Porsche is no different.
Porsche sold 234,497 units in 2015. Not sure what the projection is for 2016 - probably in the 5% - 8% growth range. Agreed on GT4 margins probably lower.
