Thanks for the reply, however, I specifically meant: how is what you calculate quantitatively correct if you don't model the air going through the radiators and out the wheel well? The front of the car looks solid in your model.

Eventually once the design has been dialed in I will publish images and result of the canards, which will look like this vvv. This is work myself and my aero guy completed for my winning Local Motors entry a few years ago. The dive plane designed for that car was more similar to that of an LMP car, the canard for the GT4 will have a similar effect to the one that came on the GT3RS 4.0

You are correct, and like I said in my op I,m still setting up the CFD and these are prelim runs, just trying to getting the software dialed in before getting into the air passage areas for the coolers.

Sorry for missing that bit. That's awesome, keep us updated.
There is a new aero package coming out for the GT4CS, I'm waiting to see what they do, and then waiting for vendors to copy.
Bingo. With all respect to GTautoDesign, I would be very cautious about tacking on aero bits without fully understanding the complete effect of such changes. Specifically, I would be concerned about the effect of front dive planes on the air flow coming into the side engine intakes. Does this change create a low pressure zone in front of the side intakes? That would obviously be less than ideal under load, at speed on the track. Might look cool at Starbucks...

Considering the level of effort I'm going through, why would you assume that I wouldn't be looking at that? You guys also have to remember that the CS is not the end all be all of aero and efficiency, it's a spec car. That being said everything done to the CS will undoubtedly be there not to hinder or degrade the performance.

I've got the order sheet/brochure that describes the changes made. Send me you email. Its not that specific and the photos make it tough to tell if the cord is any bigger.
