Default Moving On Poll

Curious to see how many people are planning on moving onto the .2 GT3 if it does indeed come with a manual and the 4.0 liter. I personally am already on my dealers list but at the same time trying to justify a 50% price increase.

I'm on three lists. I'd rather have a .2 GT3 with 6 speed than a pdk RS.

If you asked me 2 months ago, I would have voted for GT3. But now, I think I would keep the GT4...the car is just awesome and gets better each time I drive it.

But hard to say for sure until the details of the GT3 come out.

I'm #4 at my local dealer for 991.2 GT3. I was set on getting it and selling the GT4. However, I just got back from 2 days at Watkins Glen and the car was just awesome. Really appreciated how good it is till now. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do to be honest.

I'm keeping mine because it is the best that I can afford to have.

Cheers,

That is one of the biggest downsides of a potential trade (the biggest being price). I guess Porsche has painted themselves into a corner at this point and can't easily revert to 5-lugs on the GT3. Maybe they can come up with a creative reason why the next GT3 has 5-lug wheels and it's an improvement. Of course, they'll have to come up with a new acronym to describe the technology

Yes, 4 lugs, 4 reasons in addition to the other $50,000.

This. Plus I'm unlikely to be as lucky with being able to get PTS on the GT3.2.

They nearly doubled the price for PTS - they should at least offer the option for that $$$...

You missed an option: Keep GT4; add 991.2 GT3

Upon these lines, I'll propose a third option... and one that is wholly implausible.

BUT...

Now that many GT3 owners have sufficiently played with GT4 dynamics... if a 997.2 GT3 and GT4 had a bastard child out of wedlock, would you take the GT4 chassis with the new 997.2 GT3 engine instead of the 997.2 GT3?
