Default Advise on Tips

Need advice - Have some new tips that come with my sport exhaust that should be here today but they are polished chrome. Would you all keep them that way or should I send them out and have them Ceramic coated Satin Black / Matte Black / or Polished Black(Shiny)??

Personal choice, like anything else, but since you asked...I like the satin or matte black. It's more purposeful and less blingy. Not a fan of blingy. That being said, I do like the CF tips from Fabspeed

I think the black tips go better with the black diffuser, black lettering, black wing supports, and smoked tail lamps.

satin or matte is good. polished chrome doesn't look good on any car part, IMHO

From a fellow Carmine owner, satin or matte.

Black is best. Just got my retro CA plates with yellow lettering on black plates.

How long did it take from the time you ordered the plates until you received them? I recently realized I never got an email receipt or any notification after I placed the order on the DMV website. Now I'm wondering whether order ever got placed in the first place. Ugh.

Honestly I don't even obsess over cleaning the tips (I just do a few passes while washing the car) since they are black and aren't that prominent to begin with. Plus I like the stealthy look of it covered with some soot and road grime Now if I bought an Akrapovic system, then you damn right I want the tips to be clean so people can see the emblazoned words

I ordered personalyzed (not sequential) Legacy plates mid 12/15 through ACSC and it took exactly 14 weeks. Apparently, they are very popular which I can see from the number of them on the cars.

I received mine this week and ordered them on 5/9. They are sequential plates.
