Very nice, but I prefer these . From the Dan Gurney Eagle, circa 1967, with Gurney-Weslake 3.0L V12, titanium headers, 3 into 1, hand made of course. The only F1 car designed and built by an American team to have won a Grand Prix race.

This chart jives with what I would expect from a set of headers that provide a longer tube before gathering at the cat input as compared to the shorter stock "header" tube length prior to the cat input. Longer tubes versus shorter tubes, with the same diameter, in general, will enhance low and mid range torque/power. Not surprised to see minimal or no gains at higher RPMs. Having said that, this would be exactly what I would want in a header for a GT4 being primarily street driven, especially if I wasn't interested in adding ECU tune or any other mods.

I'm getting the itch to pull the trigger on a set of the CG sport headers for my GT4 arriving in early July.....

If I do add CG Sports, or any other header, my car will be otherwise bone stock, and I will do a before and after dyno run on the same dyno. And I will post results on this forum.

So I kind of gave up on getting a dyno sheet for these and an opportunity came up to get them ordered and installed locally (which provides warranty and easy access to troubleshooting) so I pulled the trigger on a set of cargraphic sports headers and a tune. They will get installed week of June 27.

I intend to do a dyno of stock vs stock + headers vs stock + headers + tune and will post up here for people to have a reference.

Looking forward to this.

I am no scientist and did not stay in a Holiday Inn but I get coating the headers to keep the cabin cool but the heat has to go some where. If you did you whole exhaust the heat will have to go some where so some thing must eventually manage it. iI you coat the exhaust one would think you better hope it can handle all that heat and not break down

The CG exhaust is solid with very good material, I'm pretty sure coating up to the entrance of the mufflers would have been a good idea. Mufflers and after-muffler pipes I'm not so sure as you could see those from behind and the Swain coating is not the best looking coating out there......

Any real benefit to thermal coat these race headers for a street use car?
Assuming it is mainly to protect the components near the headers from heat damage or premature wear?
