Finally!
My GT4 showed up at the dealer today and I went right over to pick it up.
I've got about 50 miles on it and I won't have a feel for the car until after break-in when I can wind it out.
In the meantime, here are my first impressions -
* You can really feel the power difference between the 3.8 RS and this car (to be expected and the cars aren't a good comparison).
* Driving position is the 2nd best I've ever had, with the best being a McLaren 12c.
* You can heel toe this car easily on the street.
* Shifter is amazing.
* Carmine red is much nicer in person than I've seen in any of the pics.
* I was hesitant about painted interior but it's really great and I would recommend it.
* Love the silver wheels.
* The car feels much more comfortable than the RS.
* Getting in and out of the car is more difficult than just about any other car I've with the exception of a Lotus Elise with the roof on.
Overall, it was worth the wait but I'll have to put some more miles on it before I can really comment.

Congrats! I've found the easiest way to get out of the buckets is to lift myself up using my inboard foot (still in the car but placed roughly center in the footwell) enough to get my hand onto the outer door sill, then while lifting myself using those two points together, swing my outside leg up and over the bolster (which I can do while only touching it lightly), then shift myself over until I can get my outside foot onto the ground. It sounds a lot more complicated writing it out than it is, but you'll get a finesse for it quickly.
Getting in is just inside foot first, then swing torso into cabin, then sort of fall into the seat while bringing outer foot in.

haha yes compared to 12c/650s the gt4 ingress/egress is easy-peasy... but i do find you can't help but hammer the lwb outside bottom cushion bolster though... waiting for someone to come up with some nice bolster protectors like we have on 997 gt2 buckets...
