I would have picked them with out a doubt it I had built the car.
I am looking at a set of GT3 sport buckets which are similar they do recline not that that is of use in a GT4 but that's as close as I can get in a Porsche seat.
I have not been able to soarce a set of GT4 sport buckets.
I will keep on looking.

Average race track length 2.5KM.... maybe your car had a 8 test laps to get warmed up 
j/k.... depends where your dealership is and if they sent to somewhere for accessories such as Xpel, Tint.....etc.

This is prior to having it wrapped (Xpel)
It's only been PD and cleaned.
No other accessories fitted yet.
Appearantly up to 60 kms is normal just wondered what other people have picked theirs up with.

picked mine up last week and it had 14kms on it
years ago i picked up my 1m and it had 37kms on it and i cracked it, they said someone had to fill up the tank lol, anyway 100kms later i totally forgot about it, the GT4 is twice the car the 1m is and so you will forget very fast

I find the folding bucket to be more comfortable than the 918 fixed back style, but it is all personal preference.
My car had 31kms on it, but that included about 10kms from the PDI depot they use.

Mine had about 24km on it when I picked it up. It now has over a 1000km
Been vaguely following the run in procedures. Mostly staying under 5k rpm, but had a couple of excursions up to 6-6.5K rpm. In another 250-500km I'll drive it normally.
