Gear Shift Assist should be there without having to order SC.
Porsche Germany is updating the software, but PCNA has unfortunately decided to not do the same for it's customers.

It means that with PCM there are additional displays in the touchscreen.

And is there documentation for the app, like how to download videos to a PC,
and/or the data etc. It is important to be able to peruse the data, and a better
desktop app is needed, and/or extracting the data in a common format to use
it with existing comprehensive analysis tools.

the good news is that Porsche has followed up with me.... hopefully we will see updates that fix the issues we have been seeing

I have track app and have not been able to get it to collect any data from car despite repeated attempts. I did get some lap times but Harry's lap timer gives so much more.
Reported to PCNA. Havent yet found anybody at Porsche that understands how track app should work to explain how to resolve problems. Documentation is poor/non existent.
I found a very long list of tracks that are supposed to work but neither Homestead or PBIR are pre-programmed.
So far option has been wasted money. Every owner that I have spoken to has same view.

@MXS you can use the app to record a map for any track of your choosing (or for your neighbourhood block , not to race it but to test/learn the app)

Is there a good source for information on the setup, the use, and the transfer/download of video and all the data so that someone can review all the info on a computer and not just the phone it is recorded on (also needed for backup)???

Given the cost of this package, I'm honestly not sure why anyone would buy it instead of just using Harry's Lap Timer and an external GPS.

It doesn't even come with a dash cam, like in the Corvette, does it?

I have been going back and forth with someone involved with the sportschrono app and they are hearing us.

some of the issues seem to be caused be less than intuitive UI and help. others are in the app.

the first update will be in the next month or so.

keep providing feedback and ideas for improvement through the regular channels but if you have specific feedback feel free to PM me and I will pass it along.
