Winter is coming...
It's basically been a month since I took delivery of my Agate Grey GT4. I just broke 1000 miles today and I'm finally feeling more at ease and less nervous behind the week.
Some chips on the naked headlights, one scrape on the underside of the front lip, and a small tear on the clear bra on the hood completes like list of small scars.
It was 68 degrees today in the NYC area and I took advantage of that for one more extended drive. The tires were have since they've never seen such warm temperatures in their life so far. But winter is coming, all the signs are here. Here's to hoping it will be a short and mild one.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos!

PistolPete, again, many thanks for the pix of your gorgeous AG. Love the LWBs and black wheels. Also love the red stitching/belts! Re the winter, with a strong el Nino ongoing, it's more than very possible that the tri-state area will receive above normal temperatures as well as above normal precipitation. The strong el Nino of 1972-73 (IIRC) yielded only a trace of snow all winter at Philadelphia Airport, and well less than normal snow for the NYC observing sites. So, wet, not white , as the saying goes. Not to infer that there will not be ANY snow or ice, but probably more rain, or snow to rain events, especially at the immediate coast. Upshot: there may well be opportunities for GT4 excursions this winter. If so, more pix please! Regarding CA, especially southern CA...look for some good rain events.

Anyway, that is one amazing road and I'm kicking myself for not finding it years earlier. Hawks Nest and Storm King Highway will match this for the tight turns, but only for a short period of time. The length of the road was what makes it the best. The only equivalent type of roads I've seen have been down south near The Dragon.

Our tracking season gets going around this time because the summers are brutally hot at the west coast tracks.
