Why I switched in the last minute from dark aluminum to leather trim. Also one less surface texture. Might want to check this thread - https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/8968...r-package.html
Thanks for the heads up on the lighter black alum trim.

Took a look at all the pics in the threads and decided to stay with it. Even with the lighter black I like the look - understanding the pics don't seem to totally capture exactly how it looks in person.

It's a classy looking finish. I had only two reservations - one was with wear, you will see scratches and wear through the anodized layer more easily than standard brushed.

My second concern was that the rear brace behind the seats is standard brushed aluminum - so it won't completely match. But that may not be a big deal in person.

The rear brace doesn't match the standard trim either.

Since this thread turned into an interior trim thread... The interior trim was the single (well, other than exterior color) selection that was most difficult to settle on. I looked at a lot of variations and ended up selecting the anodized black trim.

The black aluminum actually matches the platinum stitching quite well.

When you say black do u mean anodized or the stock non option one?i would have thought the black anodized would be way darker than the stitching ?
Thx
