Default Rear view mirror powered?

Curious if the rear view mirror is powered so that you can tap it for a radar mount under the mirror without having to run wires?

Well considering HomeLink, map lights, and (if you have the option) auto-dimming functionality are all up there, it would have to be powered. But I don't know if there's enough current to support a radar detector.

I could not find a definitive answer on this question so I bought this wire http://amzn.com/B00RA38W78 and this fuse tap http://amzn.com/B00UB9WMZQ and ran the wire to the passenger side fuse block. It was very easy and I did not have to remove any panels from the overhead area. From my research the wire-tap type connectors are designed to use the auto-dimming mirror power which I do not have. I am sure it is possible to find power up there but I figured the fuse block would be more plug and play and therefore reversible.
