Default GT4's at Lime Rock

We had four GT4's at LRP on Saturday, the last CVR event of the season. Two on track and two not.

Lots of interest in the cars, and so many other drivers have them on order, most waiting for the LWB's.

Rick, how does the GT4 compare to the 6gt3 on track? (Or does it?)

Hard to compare after three twenty minute sessions, and trying to keep it under 5500 rpm as it had 300 miles on it. Prior to coming to the track, we had softened the front bar to full soft and left everything else alone. Biggest drawback was the lack of a six point harness, as I found myself working too hard to keep from sliding around in the seat (yes,,they are
LWB's). Car felt planted in all the turns with just a little under steer which I expected. I left all the nannies on, and only got a warning light when cresting the uphill, again expected. I had one tail wag coming out of the left hander, easily corrected, and this was due to too much throttle, too soon (i.e. Driver error). Over the winter, we will put in a roll bar, harnesses, maybe a AIM system, and tweet the suspension a little, but I intend arrive and drive.
