I don't think this will be possible.

Under investigation

Stage 2 OTS maps are compatible with both catted and catless headers for the 981 and will keep the CEL from illuminating. However, any resulting codes (such as P0420) will be stored in the ECU and any corresponding readiness monitors will NOT set. Aka- we simply give you the convenience of having no annoying CEL constantly annoying you. However- the maps are not going to allow a catless vehicle to pass/be street legal and should only be used in conjunction with catless headers for off road/track vehicles only.

Sounds like your friend is coming from a Subaru. None of those monitors apply to Porsche (thankfully) as the ECUs are significantly more advanced and allow for (nearly) instantaneous per cylinder timing corrections. Instead of FKL,FBK, or DAM, your friend will just want to check logs for no timing corrections over -6 during a WOT pull. All 6 cylinders are included in the default logging list. For the rest of the available monitors you can have him check out this help article here:

https://cobb.app.box.com/v/porsche-tuner-monitors

Thanks!

I find his car insufferably obnoxious.

Thanks for the responses

Jared, would you guys be able to do E-tunes for those of us with headers and/or other mods?
If so, and the AP could be cleanly unmarried like on other platforms I would get one for sure.

We don't directly offer e-Tuning/ProTuning services but you should be able to locate one near you via our dealer/tuners locator on our website:

All of the Porsche Accessports can be uninstalled to be used on another vehicle or sold just like our other applications.

Thanks!

Yes, the Accessport can be uninstalled from the car- say to take the car in for dealer service (which we strongly recommend as we do not lock the ECU on Porsches so the AP installation could be overwritten by the PIWIS)- and then reinstalled after the servicing. Another example would be you're selling the vehicle, uninstall the Accessport before selling/trading in and the AP can be sold to be installed on another (compatible) vehicle.

Thanks!
