Jet Black Metallic, with 2 way seats (shame because this car appears to be in LWB range).

MSRP of $91,445. Auction starts at $115,000 but there appears to be no reserve.

so whose a taker at $25K over?

I'll be putting mine up on ebay for auction to see what a car with LWB can fetch....the reserve is going to be a bit high though.

Not my Jet Black car but interesting to see the silver wheels on a black car. Can't say I like it.

Not a special build in any way. I like the jet black w silver wheel combo, though. If I could have ordered red interior I would have considered it, bit I'm not a big fan of black on black. The sun is pretty intense down here in the SW.

I got a call from my dealership when I put up my GT4 on Craigslist for $20K over. They told me that if I sold the car within 1st year, they will never sell me another GT car to me.

Anyway, I got in a little trouble over the weekend with my buddy...
Plus, today has not been fun getting my butt kicked on the stock market.

Yeah. Although I don't like people telling me what to do, I respect that they don't like flippers charging over msrp when they don't even appreciate the car.

I bought mine from a private party so I won't get in trouble as I'm not on that dealer's waitlists.

Hmm, I thought that one year restriction was for selling out of country (no exporting)... not selling domestically for over MSRP. Heck, the dealers are selling over MSRP so why couldn't a private owner?

... not that I will be selling mine, I already love it and it isn't even here yet! LOL

As a first-time Porsche and hopeful GT4 customer, I respect that as well. Even more so because I live in SoCal. I’d rather buy from a dealer that values customer relationships and realizes what their cars mean to enthusiasts as opposed to one that caters first to the highest bidders, those looking for the new hottest thing to valet in front of their favorite restaurant, and prevents enthusiasts from getting the cars that Porsche’s engineers want them to have. I know all dealerships exist to make money, but there's definitely a reasonable balance to be had.

Wait, didn't you pay a slight markup for your GT4 from this very same dealer threatening to ban you for flipping?

In an earlier thread you noted that the car in the ad was yours, but you claimed the posting on CL was for a friend with an identical car...
https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-cayman-and-cayman-s-all-generations/885930-1st-gt-4-sighting.html#post12495071

That CL ad (now deleted) included clear pics of the car, with the dealer identified, taken at the time of the delivery in the dealer lot!

You took delivery 7/31 and posted the CL ad by 8/7...now you admit it was your car for sale.

Kudos to the dealer for reaching out to you. They understand the importance of customer relationships. Your post-purchase activities don't merit much future support from this dealership.
