Okay well I suggest if you don't want to pay over 30k you contact them and pay 20k over. If
Indeed you are in the market.
I have an allocation. One that I spec'd myself.

Anyway you are going to have to wait for $30K over, if you ever get it. Good luck Chuck. Hell there is another GT4 on ebay for less than $30K over.

Sorry for there being two monroney stickers in this photo both the GT4 and the 50th were bought the same day. Hope that helps clear up the confusion. I'll do better next time.

Sadly, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

A friend of mine (918 owner) has a car that he can't sell for 6 months but plans to list it around 145-150. MSRP is 107k.

I'm sure your GT4 will be very nice. I am fine with waiting
.
He's not much if any under 30k over, that car is pretty watered down.

More like 160 as I'd like to get the tax money back also.

It doesn't matter what someone lists them at. Auto Trader, cars.com, ebay, and several dealers like Auto Gallery are all selling cars for less than $120,000.

How in the hell would anyone pay $150,000?? aren't you pretty squarely in GT3 territory at that point?

Look, I'd love it as much as the next guy if they were going for that much. I just don't see it happening.

If it were a good PTS color and LWB, 150 would happen.

Your friend needs to do his homework. I'm buying a GT4 from a 918 and going to have it transported over to me once it hits his dealers floor. There's no 6-month waiting to sell any car other than the 918. In 6 months there will be a lot of other GT4 allocations. I would tell him to list the car now before more allocations start getting handed out.

No one can tell exactly what options are on it from just general photos. For example does it have the expanded fuel tank, any extended leather options, software options, etc. etc.

I'm going to put this out there just so it's on the record and people have some data points. I'm paying $10k over MSRP plus covering the sales tax for the GT4 ordered by a 918....the ONLY reasons I'm paying over that much are as follows...1) car has LWB seats, 2) car is spec'ed 90%+ how I would have done it, and most importantly 3) since I'm buying the car from a private party I won't be paying sales tax on the transaction. The fact that the 918 owner has a 6% sales tax rate and I would have had to pay 8.1% for a new car means that I'm effectively paying $8k over what I would have paid for the car at MSRP from a dealer.

I'll give the OP $1,000 if he can sell his car for over $150k. I paid $140,000 for my 2015 GT3 with LWB seats.

Hey, dude, stop insinuating about people are not in a market or have never spec'ed a car before. You are trying to sell a car in this forum of which you are not even a paid member. Second, with that asswipe attitude and your lack of usual common sense of listing a car on ebay, what do you expect from us? Third, a car that has been already titled is NOT new car, what do you mean you don't know about what is a difference between new and old? Did you drive the car home yourself?

Man, you are just flipping a car for profit. At least have some decency doing so. 30k over MSRP for a non-customizable car? Give me a break. and no, I am not in the market because I just sold my GT3, waiting for the GT4 that I spec'ed to arrive in November.

McKenna Porsche was selling 10K over a customizable allocation just 2 weeks ago. It may have been sold already, but I know they have a few coming in.

Again, F U.
