I know! Dealer didn't too too badly cleaning it.
A few other observations after another 100 or so miles:
- The frunk has good storage and also serves as a nice BBQ. I'm guessing the close proximity of the radiators and the 105 degree heat here doesn't help, but my gym bag was roasted after a drive.
- I'm not saying I did rev it, but if I had I would say that the engine just starts to come alive after the 4200 break in suggestion. . I also might say it sounds glorious and pulls much better past 6000.
- The brakes are epic. No surprise I guess considering they slow the heavier GT3 well, but it's like a boat anchor and much easier to modulate compared to my M3 with Pagid RS29s.
Thanks everyone, its a fun car even on the street!

If that's the case, then I guess it is possible the GT4 may break 30 at COTA under ideal conditions with the sport cup 2's. Either way, it'll be fun to try which is the whole point of this car.

The frunk could be a good place to keep food warm until you get to the office.

Awesome about the engine and brakes. I'm planning on taking their "recommendation" on break-in and throwing it out the window after 400-500 miles. I'll vary engine speed and do multiple heat cycles in that time and keep it under 5k or so, but after that, it's go time. The powertrain should be "bedded" at that point.

Food warmer is a good idea for the frunk. I might try roasting some peanuts at the track or popping some pop corn for an afternoon snack.

Agree, I'm not wringing it's neck yet and I'm driving it to work everyday to get some heat cycles and more mileage before hitting the track. Anybody who can keep this car below 4200 rpm for 2000 miles has much more self control than me!

Sounds like you and I are on the same page for break-in. As everyone knows, the Euro manual doesn't even have a recommended break-in mileage/kilometer range stated. Just warm it up (as always) before flogging. I figured 400-500ish miles is enough for the diff, transmission, etc. to get bedded in properly.
Peanuts, popcorn, or even those plastic egg cookers would be good for the frunk at the track. After a good, hot track session, pop the frunk hood and enjoy some warm snacks and protein. Yum.

Got to love a car that can cook your food.
Thanks, a couple bad phone pics is all I have now. More later when I find my camera memory card.
