I never messed around with photo mode in games, but seeing how close to real life the images are getting, I started using it to see what "paint to sample" colors look like on the Cayman, et al. It does a better job than the Porsche configurator. I never thought about amethyst, but seeing it on the car, I may do a liquid wrap, if I can't swing my 718 PTS order. Liquid wrap would be cheaper than full PPF, and the color I really want isn't being offered.

These are actually BBS RI-D's. They share a similar "split 5-spoke" design as the CI-R's so it's easy to get them mixed up.

981 GT4 Group - with regard to the gear shift ****, has anyone else experienced the plastic silver selector map breaking free? I pop it back in place only to have it become dislodged again. No problem shifting mind you, but I'd rather not super-glue as this is a Porsche. Thoughts about a replacement would be welcome. Thanks.

Yes this happened to me - and on track it’s not fun trying to hold on to the sharp edges.
I replaced the shift **** with an air leather version from BFI. Feels much better.

Same thing happened to me on track, came right off in my hand. I pushed it back in, it rattles now slightly which is annoying. Not annoying enough to spend $500 on a replacement though. Chirs Harris complained of the same thing in his long term GT3 review, its a poor design.
