I just test fitted my new street wheels/tires. HRE Flow Florm FF01 with Khumo PS91 tires. These things are heavier than stock by a good bit. About 6-7 lbs per corner (heavier tire). But I got them for street driving to save the Cup2s for track only use. Not my top choice of design but the price was too good to pass up.

Are you certain that they are heavier than stock? From this Rennlist thread - https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/8971...-forged-2.html - it is stated that the OEM wheels weigh 23.24 lbs & 25.86 lbs respectively.

The FF01's weigh 23.8 lbs & 24.6 lbs and that's despite the fact that they are a full 1" wider in the rear.

Can we get confirmation on the OEM wheel weights listed in the link?

These are the Flow Form line which is less expensive than forged. Might be a similar design in forged guise which would be lighter?

Only the fronts, and only by 0.5lbs. Rears you'll have a weight savings of 1.25lbs per wheel as the FlowForm wheels are lighter than the GT4 Wheels.

20" Stock GT4 weights:
Front wheel weight 23.24lbs
Rear wheel weight 25.86lbs

20" FlowForm FF01 weights:
Front wheel weight 23.80lbs
Rear wheel weight 24.60lbs

And just for comparison sake since the R101LW is posted above, if we were to take our lightest Forged wheel against the factory GT4 wheels it's game over:

20" R101 LW weights:
Front wheel weight 16.00lbs
Rear wheel weight 19.40lbs
(Wheel size for R101LW is 20x8.5 and 20x11)

Maybe the Kumho Ecsta PS91 are significantly heavier than the Cup2s? That would account for the 6-7 pounds heavier mine are per corner.

Bingo.

The Kumho's weigh 28 // 33 lbs respectively.

The MPSC2 weigh 23 // 29 lbs.

Yikes! I did notice the Cup2s are a smidge wider and taller in reality. So even with that the Kumhos are significantly heavier.

Nice driving, cool video... was there a reason that the BMW was holding up the GT4 for so long?

Car has been away for the winter for over a month now. Some old photos to remind of the good times...
