I stand corrected, and what a coincidence.
There is a focal on P9 with a white and silver, and the first of your three pictures looked like the wheels were silver, but from the last two I now see that they are standard.
No that is me on p9 also. Car hasn't been washed since delivery and all the brake dust has turned my silver wheels looking platinum.
Car is going to the detailer for 3m pro, tint and paint coating on the body and wheels Tuesday. Should be a lot easier to clean now
Great shots PistolPete! -skillz!
-I hate those dam nipples.. lol
Thank you. I'm a bit of a gear head with photo stuff as well.
We have a good number of GT4's in the NYC area and my goal is to document as many of them as I can! I wanted to get all four GT4's lined up at the track on Saturday for a photo but I didn't want to mess with the owners concentration since they were actually driving or instructing that day.
Agree there is no bad color in the current Porsche GT4 palette, wheels and body. Plain and simple, just different tastes.
That's the weird thing. With all my other cars, one or two colors stood out from the others based on my tastes. But for the gt4, there are 5 colors that are tied for #1
Man - Guards Red gets me every time. Utterly classic and just screams Porsche. Great pics - I think this has just settled it for me. GR/black wheels it is. Hopefully I get the chance w/an allocation.
I'm fighting black vs platinum wheels. I don't want a replication of my current car but damn..the black gives great contrast with the other black items.

I think black works best with the bright colors - Red, blue, yellow, white and silver.
Platinum goes with everything - maybe less so with yellow.
I went for a quick drive yesterday. I forgot to bring my good camera but I drove past a great photo spot and could not resist a quick photo-shoot using only my phone

Wow, those are great pics, where is that and how you manage to be there alone ?
These pics are killing me, can't wait till March
Thanks, this is a bridge in Northern Westchester County, NY over the Croton Reservoir. It is kind of a bridge to nowhere and gets very little traffic. It leads to a pumping station that feeds the aqueduct to NYC. Perfect for a photo shoot!
Wow, some truly awesome photos and well-spec'd cars here - Very impressive! While these photos are not my car (base 981 Cayman for now, GT4 someday...), I was the one behind the lens and hope you all do not mind my contribution - Enjoy!
