So for those interested in my observations that come from nearly constant monitoring of the PCNA database. Things are acting sort of weird lately.
As I have said before March and April were record months for production, and they followed a time when a lot of allocations were moved up.
If you look at the "Options" tab on the google doc and look at the graphs I created you will also see another oddity. That being that for the last 100 or so cars, nearly every single one has been full leather.
It is almost as if they just stopped building partial leather cars for awhile. Of course I can't say that with any certainty since it could simply be that some data entry person is only entering full leather cars. But that does not make a lot of sense.
it is also interesting that there are a lot more skipped VIN's than normal. There usually are around 20 or so out of the last 100, but I am currently missing over 40 for the last 200 which has never happened before.
To me, it seems to point to production being shuffled around for whatever reason, maybe to get the cars out quicker? maybe because they are short on certain supplies, so building around the shortages? Obviously I don't know but the database has never acted this way before.
Whatever the case it probably has something to do with coming down to the end of production. or not.

Panicking has been put on hold until then.

I had to continually ask my dealer for info and updates - it rarely came proactively.
They should also be able to tell you which tires are on the car.
Congrats!!

If your wife's car left Emden 5/4 it's in the same boat as mine which arrives in Jacksonville tomorrow, check with your dealer, the name of the boat it's the Oregon Highway, the bad part for me it's im in Jax but have to pick up in Destin.

Hi Gmaki, I just got my VIN from my SA. It is WP0AC2A82GK192211. Going to pick it up in Leipzig June 2nd. Can't find it in your database. Maybe this is one of those you said are not showing up yet?
By the way, whoever is the ID 1882 seems to be another Canadian picking up a SBM GT4 at Leipzig, too. If you are reading this, are you also picking up June 2nd? If so, see you there!!

I'm pretty sure ID number 1918 is my car. Options and MSRP match identically to my build and per my SA last Friday, the car was supposed to exit the body shop any day. I sorted the list by MSRP and it's the only car with that value. I will report back when the SA confirms the VIN for ID 1918 matches (or doesn't) my car.
Thanks for maintaining this list Gmaki!!
