Trying to buy a GT4 at MSRP
#16
I think the passion for the GT4 at premium over MSRP will decrease some at the numbers they are producing. I would love to have one and one will pop up for sure. Already have a possibility of a new build from a friend that bought something else.
I love these cars. But, when the greed hits I lose interest no matter how good the car is. I think anyone with some patience will get what they want concerning the GT4 at MSRP. Give it time.

My friend here in town received his GT4 about a month ago from the dealership here. Got it at MSRP. Unfortunately not broken in yet for our PCA track day this Thursday Phenomenal car! Maybe the advantage of living in a smaller town with a smaller group of car enthusiasts

Just thinking out loud here, but isn't there some value in keeping your speciality cars local to promote the dealership?..having a reputation for dealing fairly? I always went to dealer-sponsored track days with the GT cars and the local DE. Worked out well for both of us. I can see both sides of coin..$$ opportunity. But loyalty goes a long way as well.

Who cares what MSRP is? Its all about supply and demand.
Its obvious that enthusiasts think it is worth more than what Porsche has set MSRP at, and Prorsche probably priced it low, just to drum up this internet frenzy for the car.
If you can afford one, whats another $10k on top of MSRP? Especially when it just takes the price up to market value.
