From pickup at noon on Saturday to Sunday midnight, did nearly 400 miles, with no actual destination! According to the trip computer, drove for 11 hours in the 36 hours after pickup.

Great road car, it's more comfortable than I expected (I have the 18-ways). Fantastic suspension/chassis. Haven't scraped yet, but took undue care. Love my spec (well it was my own spec, so I should).

4.2k limit is a bit unfortunate. The party seems to start at 4. I've been having a few forays to 5ish, first fast cayman I've driven (they're all quick, base/S/GTS etc., this is FAST). The mid-range is very strong.

I can't seem to paste an image url. Some pics are on p-9.

Congrats! You can just post the images directly to RL or use a URL. I grabbed them from P9 for you

Good to hear this. Most are mirroring your sentiment as well. There was one owner who felt it didn't have the mid-range, but somethings feels off with that opinion because almost everyone else says otherwise.

Got mine today ! I Love it! The car is hot!!!

Much of the car was as expected and in line with reviews and other members posts IMHO. Except for the sound . Outrageous sound ! Much better than I was expecting at under 4200.

Few quick notes with my limited first day of driving.

1. The car has major presence. It looks big. Looked bigger and better than the 991 gts that was also at the dealer.

2. Ride was stiff but comfortable even in the stiffer setting. Very solid feel throughout the car.

3. Steering is very quick and precise.

4. Car has a lot of torque midrange felt strong.

5. Makes amazing noises. Unbelievable down shift sounds. Makes great exhaust sounds even at low RPm's. The car makes some cool gearbox whine at times as well.

6. The gearbox is awesome. Tight smooth shifts. Clutch felt very heavy until I got used to it or my leg got stronger from working out by pushing it in. Haha clutch is heavy.

7. The car was much lower than I was expecting. I figured it to be a little lower than my cayman r but it is a lot lower. I barely made it in the driveway.

8. Can't comment on the gearing since I was short shifting to keep under 4200 rpm, however it felt fine to me under those circumstances.
Outrageous car ! I'm very happy.
I'll post some pics when I have a chance.

I pick mine up tomorrow or Monday. I'm in W. PA so I wouldn't really call myself tri-state as it's highly unlikely my car with be in NYC-ish area even though I'm there every other month.

Thanks guys ! That pic was from before it was prepped for delivery. A cool thing the dealer told me about that I wasn't aware of is the ecu is locked to only allow the car to go up to 9 miles per hour for a time period to prevent theft and joy riding I'm assuming prior to delivery /sale.

Cool pic of gt4 stamping on the front of the car before the front spoiler was installed.
