64L or 55L standard fuel tank?

Better question here: If you find a car that has everything you want spec'd but the extended tank would you go for it?
Obviously if I had a custom order the extended tank is a no-brainer and I would want it. But I'm hesitant to take a car with the regular tank. Should I jump on a car now or roll the dice for a car with the extended tank?

I don't think it's worth passing a car that otherwise suits your specs. The difference in tank size is only a bit over 2.6 gallons. As someone mentioned below, if you are driving in the city, that's only about 40 miles. Yes it makes a difference but it's not night and day.
If you do a lot of road trips, the calculus could change. I'm glad I ordered the larger tank but other options are more important to me.

Oh well, pretty much a moot point now. In the 20 minutes I waffled some other buyer stepped up to the plate to make the 6hr drive tomorrow.

Car with larger tanks will trigger alarm and throw a hissy fit if you choose to take breaks before the tank is empty. Fact.

I got both the free larger tank and the free larger bladder options. They really work well together and saved me the cost of Scotch Guarding my seats.

Not having the extended range tank wouldn't be a big deal but with the opportunity to spec the car, it's an obvious option to include.
