Default Raising the car

The ride height is adjustable from what I read of the GT4 suspension. Since the car doesn't have a front lift option has anyone considered raising 10mm if you are primarily on the street?

From researching this on the GT3, on that car the production guidelines apparently specify that during inspection, the car can be up to 5mm higher than the official maximum suspension height (to allow for manufacturing variances) but cannot be any lower, which suggests that the car will arrive with its suspension already configured for maximum ride height. Raising any further would likely require aftermarket suspension components.

And would change the dynamics of the car in terms of downforce and lift. Probably best to leave it to spec unless you know how to dial in and build different aero.

I think the aero effect would be minimal on a street driven car, since you'd have to be pretty damn deep into tire grip for it to make a difference.

The stock ride height is set very particularly so that the control arms are parallel to the ground at a rest. Quirk of the MacPherson strut setup on Caymans. This is done for reasons of camber curves and things I do not understand completely. Anyway, changing the ride height will affect this as well but I cannot say how much...
