On an unrelated note, I've been working 10 years since college and grad school and never owned a car. I have been saving my pennies, finally paying off my mortgage to get something nice. Somehow my manager and I were talking about the possibility of my position on the gt4 wait list getting allocated. He said it was extremely foolish and not wise to buy a 100k$ Porsche. Frankly I was very disappointed and even livid that despite my strong interest in cars and my conservative spending lifestyle, a fellow gear head (of e46 m3's and Audis) would not share my enthusiasm for purchasing my first car. Guess I'm not ever sharing my passion for cars with anyone else in my workplace.

I don't criticize others for what they spend their money on, so I don't need their opinion in this case, especially when they don't know what has been done to get to this point. Everything has it's oppourtnity cost.
